Point Breeze Credit Union gifted $10,000 to Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland.

The donation serves to further the Meals on Wheels mission, providing local homebound seniors with nutritious, home delivered meals. Additionally, the gift will strengthen resources that help seniors remain in their homes with a sense of dignity and independence.

As a community financial institution, Point Breeze values investments that solidify local ties, and enable community members to achieve the lives they desire.

To celebrate the donation and observe its impact up close, Tonia Niedzialkowski, president and CEO of Point Breeze Credit Union, visited the Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland facility in Baltimore.

“Community plays a role in everything we do at Point Breeze,” said Tonia Niedzialkowski, President and CEO of Point Breeze Credit Union. “We are honored to support Meals on Wheels and their important work. Through this donation we want to make a meaningful impact by providing nutritious food, connection, and companionship to homebound seniors in our communities.”

“Our mission is to not only deliver meals to homebound older adults, but to deliver independence, dignity and peace of mind as well,” said Meals on Wheels CEO Stephanie Archer-Smith. “This generous donation from Point Breeze Credit Union will immediately support this mission, allowing us to be More Than A Meal and ensure that Maryland’s older adults are not forgotten, especially during this challenging time of year. We are so grateful for their steadfast local commitment.”

Through this donation, and more, Point Breeze aims to help communities build resources they need for a healthier, stronger future.
