Cockeysville Scholar Graduates from UMD at 20 with Dual Degrees

College Park, MD — Brionn Nettles, a driven and talented scholar from Cockeysville, has graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park at just 20 years old, earning dual bachelor’s degrees in Psychology (B.S.) and Studio Art (B.A.).

Brionn’s academic journey began early. At only 17, she graduated from the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) Essex campus with an Associate of Arts in General Studies, earning honors distinctions as a Mellon Scholar, Honors Program Graduate, and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society inductee.

At UMD, Brionn blended her passions for mental health, research, and visual expression. She contributed to undergraduate research in both psychology and art, advocated for mental health awareness, and exhibited her work in student galleries. Her dedication to interdisciplinary excellence earned praise from both professors and peers.
