Usually we limit it to one entree, but here it seems everything is a signature dish.  Country cooking at it's best.  Make sure you have a reservation.

A country drive through Hereford leads to our two hundred acre farm in Northern Baltimore County. Surrounded by three ponds, the view is breathtaking year-round.

Our family started the Friendly Farm Restaurant in Upperco, Maryland in 1959. Originally located in the existing farm house, the present building was opened in 1964 to accommodate a growing clientele.

Dining is family style

A choice of individually presented entrées, such as Roast Beef, Fried Shrimp, Fried Chicken, Country Ham, Steak or “Our Famous” Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes are offered. Included with your meal are servings of the daily vegetable, fresh hand-cut, french-fried potatoes, fruit, apple butter, cottage cheese, and an abundance of dinner rolls and deep-fried sugar rolls with butter and beverage. Completing your meal is a generous scoop of dairy-fresh ice cream.

Check out our assortment of baked goods, snacks, and sweets in our lobby area. Then take a leisurely stroll around our farm.
