Historic Derrymore House In Baltimore County Blossoms Into Modern Airbnb Gem

History enthusiasts and travelers alike can now step into the past at Derrymore House, a meticulously restored 1910 colonial country home in Baltimore County now available for rent on Air BnB.

Nestled on nearly three acres in the Greenspring Valley Historic District, the Derrymore House was once home to notable figures, including Charles Carroll, a signer of the Declaration of Independence.

Located at 10938 Falls Road, Axios Real Estate Group recently acquired the property for $700,000 in December 2022, the Baltimore Business Journal reports. The historic gem has since been given a new lease on life with a complete renovation to meet modern standards.

Renamed Axios Farms, the renovated property features two grand fireplaces (non-operational but retaining their antique allure), a state-of-the-art gourmet kitchen, and a geothermal-powered HVAC system. Additional amenities include organic eggs from the property's ten friendly hens, an attached in-law suite, and a detached game barn equipped with a pool table, ping pong, foosball, and a smart TV.

Axios Farms is currently for rent for $750 a night and is already booked for most of fall 2023.
