Baltimore County community uses Halloween display to help those in need

Community collects donations to benefit Hereford Food Bank

SPARKS, Md. —A Halloween display in northern Baltimore County is doing more than just lighting up the neighborhood.

For the past 20 years, Bob Ross and two of his neighbors have been going all out with decorations to entertain trick-or-treaters in their Loveton Farms community in Sparks.

"I don't golf. I don't fish. I don't do anything but this," Ross said. "Every year, we try to add more."

He said it has become a real passion project to create something special on Cross Falls Way.
