Everything you ever wanted to know about honey, honeybees and more! Participants will have the opportunity to look inside the Oregon Ridge Hives at our Open Hive Demos and see how honey goes from hive to bottle at our Honey Extraction Demos. Families will enjoy the Education Stations that cover everything from planting for pollinators to beekeeping equipment to types of honey and more. Make sure to allow enough time to see and do it all… children’s crafts, animal encounters, pumpkin painting, cider making, tenant house tours, fall family games, vendors and crafters. Take the time to chat with the local beekeepers who will be there to sell their wares and answer your beekeeping questions.
