STELLA IS FOUND!

We've found Stella. Oregon Ridge Nature Center received a call on Sunday Morning, followed by an email with photos of a Hawk with anklets.

We can't thank our friends in Perry Hall enough for taking the time to find the story behind the hawk who had been in their yards for the past 4 days. When staff arrived it took less than 5 minutes to capture Stella and get her in her crate. 

Stella was taken to our local wildlife rehab facility - Phoenix Wildlife Center. Upon examination they found that Stella had lost lots of weight and will need weeks of rehab before returning to her home at Oregon Ridge.

We would like to thank Kathy Woods at Phoenix Wildlife Center for all the support and advice throughout this journey, along with all the people who have been watching for and reporting hawk sightings since Stella went missing on April 21st.
